We are a farmers market that pops up

– tents, tables, chairs, produce, goods, people and all – every Sunday during the growing season.

The Freeville Village Pop-Up Farmers Market pops-up in the parking lot of the Old Freeville Firehouse on Main Street. Exact dates and times for the 2017 season will be posted sometime in the spring.  Meanwhile stay in touch on our Facebook page to see what’s coming up for our second season.

Put it in your plans, and bring your family, favorite board game, a bag for groceries, your dog, your guitar, or nothing at all besides yourself.

Seeking Vendors

We are seeking vendors for the upcoming season, if you have an idea email freevillepopupmarket@gmail.com, whether you are a local farmers, a gardener with extra bounty, an artisan, or an organization seeking to table we want to hear from you! All levels of market experience are encouraged to write. Unlike many other markets we do not require a commitment for the whole season, you can pop-up on one Sunday or every single of them.

Mission

Our mission is one of inclusiveness, regional economic growth, and sustainability. This is a place where folks from anywhere in driving and walking distance gather around local food, artisanship and small business. Our pop-up market is a scene where experienced and first-time vendors set up tables side-by-side, and where kids can set up shop as well.

Diversity Statement

We encourage involvement from folks from all different backgrounds be they race, age, sex, socio-economic status, political beliefs, religious viewpoints, gender identities, sexual orientation or disability.

Volunteers

We can always use help getting the word out, assistance in making a market day go smoothly, or raising funds, so if you would like to help please email: freevillepopupmarket@gmail.com
